A quiet, closed room in the middle of town. We handle the catering and the timing so the family has nothing to arrange on the day.
The practical arrangements
A memorial reception is held during the day, within restaurant opening hours. The room is closed and your own: other guests do not pass through it and the noise of the dining room does not carry in.
The room is chosen by the size of the gathering. Kajuutta for twelve, Kompassi for 20–34, Lyhty for 25–50 and Juhlasali up to seventy. The smallest gathering we take is twelve.
When you book, tell us the number of guests and the time, and whether there will be speeches or images. Every room has a screen or a projector.
The catering
We always serve a meal at a memorial reception — lunch or dinner. We do not arrange coffee-only receptions. In practice it means the guests are properly fed and nobody has to go looking for food afterwards.
Everything we serve is already gluten-free and lactose-free, and a vegan option is part of the standard selection, so dietary requirements need not be made an issue.
The menu is agreed in advance. If there was something the person always ordered, tell us — we will gladly make it.

What it costs
There is no separate room hire, and occasions starting before 4 pm carry no minimum spend at all. You pay only for what is served.
